Kindness Nursery School

Fundación Hatua / Kindness Nursery School

Collaboration between Hatua Foundation and Seeds of Kindness: Launching the Kindness Nursery School Project in Moshi, Tanzania

From the Hatua Foundation, we are pleased to announce our collaboration with Seeds of Kindness on a new project: the construction of the Kindness Nursery School in Moshi, Tanzania. Our participation focuses on providing consultancy and financial support to carry out this initiative.

Moshi is a growing city in the northern region of Tanzania, with over 200,000 inhabitants. Amidst this dynamism, a palpable need arises: accessible and quality childcare and early education services. Currently, the available options are limited, forcing many parents to rely on informal and unreliable childcare solutions. This situation not only poses a risk to the well-being of children but also creates a gap in their educational and socio-emotional development.

¿What will the Kindness Nursery School Project be like?

The Kindness Nursery School in Moshi is not just a project, it’s a dream in construction, a space where care and education intertwine to create opportunities:

  1. A home away from home: Every corner of the Kindness Nursery School is designed with the well-being and happiness of the children in mind. From a classroom full of color and creativity to play corners that awaken the imagination, we create a place where children can feel safe, loved, and free to explore. With a capacity for 50 children, the school is not just a place to learn, but a space where each child receives the attention and care they deserve.
  2. Education: Beyond traditional lessons, we foster interactive learning where children can discover and grow at their own pace, developing vital life skills. Additionally, we understand that a well-fed and healthy child is a child ready to learn. Therefore, the kitchen not only serves nutritious meals but also becomes a classroom for healthy habits.
  3. Sustainability: Beyond education and care, the focus on sustainability allows for implementing affordable fees and developing income-generating projects, such as a vegetable garden. These efforts not only support the operation of the school but also benefit the community, creating a cycle of growth and self-sufficiency.

At Hatua Foundation, we believe that every child deserves a start full of love, learning, and opportunities. The Kindness Nursery School is more than a project; it’s a commitment to the children of Moshi and their future. A future where every child can dream, learn, and thrive.
